This is one of the most deadly disaster that attacked this year in the country. I feel sorry for those who experienced this calamity, hope they already recover now.
Most of these could and have affected me in my neighborhood. I think we are fairly well prepared, both as a community and as individuals. We have taken steps to address the areas that could be a problem for us in the case of flooding, chemical spills or heavy rain.
I think there's very little we can do if a tsunami hits. Those things move so fast and where we are, there's basically no where you can get to fast enough that's high and sturdy enough to withstand the force of the water.
